REFLECTION
With my perseverance, passion and never die attitude, I always stand-up and proudly say I can do all things better with the grace and guidance of Almighty Father. Because thier is nothing impossible without God. My vision in life is to attain all my aspirations and dreams.But, I will never attain all of this dreams without those people who share thier effort, time and wisdom to help me understand things easy.
Honestly speaking, I am poor in Mathematics since I was in elementary. BUT, I have to motivate and challenge my self to learn the principles of Mathematics with willingness and loved to really understand and appreciate the value of numbers or mathematics as an accurate Science.
I am also enjoying in doing our BLOG. It seems to be more essential to me because we were given chance to manipulate computers with Internet access with other people around the world. Beyond all my expectations, this subject molded me to be more equiped with knowledge of creating our blog. I learn many things which I never learned before.
My heartfelt gratitude to Prof. Ava Clare Marie Robles, Ph.D. for always have a passion in teaching and transfering your brilliant ideas to all of us. I'm proud and my salute to you Ma'am.. My knowlwdge in Education for Sustainable Development started with you.

STATISTICS AS A PLATFORM IN EDUCATION FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
Education through sustainable development is a kind of development that meets the needs of the present situation, without compromising the ability of the future generation to meet thier own standard way of living.
Education as the core and foundation for sustainable development should be given firts priority. Without the fast-paced spread of quality education among all the people of the society, there will be a little recognition or appreciation of what is sustainable development, what we need to contribute as an educator for this sustainable development is to help dissimiminate, integrate and emulate people minds and hearts on the importance of education to human life for the future.
We should understand what changes one may incorporate in one's own living lifestyle and the society's functioning development for our success. Most importantly, without quality education we would not be able to steer high quality brains for developing technologies for sustainable development.
The goal of the United Nation of Education for Sustainable Development (2005-2014), for which UNESCO is the lead agency, is to integrate the principles, values, and practices of sustainable development into all aspects of education and learning. This educational effort will encourage changes in behavior that will create a more sustainable future in terms of environmental, integrity, eonomic viability and a just society for present and future generation to attain peace and prospirity.
Sustainable development is generally thought to have three components: environment, society, and economy. The well-being of these three areas is interwined, not separate. Thus, the authors consider sustainable to be a paradigm for thinking about a future in which environmental, social, and economic considerations are blanced in the pursuit of development and improved quality of human life.
The world today experiences a rapid and continuous change which may either be favorable or unfavorable. Different parts of the world are different levels of development. Almost alll nations are development-minded. Countries which have been poor and stagnant for centuries are striving to minimize or eliminate poverty, disease, ignorance, and inequality. They no longer disposed to entrust thier future to the vagaries of nature or to the judgment of colonial rulers. The worldwide aspiration for development is more than just the desire for economic progress. It is a quest for status, prestige, recognition, and social the and political modernization, But, all of this can be attainable through Education for Sustainable Development.
The Philippines like the rest of the underdeveloped countries adapted the thrust to improve the quality of life of the people by engaging in simultaneous development programs. The general trust of the Philippine government , through its because and agencies, is to give greater attention to the less fortunate, particularly those considered the "poorest of the poor".
FACTORS INFLUENCING DEVELOPMENT
There are a number of specific factors which, in thier interaction with other factors, may generate development. The precise nature and direction of the changes, however, depend to a large extent on the unique conditions of the place and time in which they occur. Firts, is the Environment which consists of the things around us either, physical, social or cultural. Second is the Technology whic really influenced us today, and the third and the most important is the Education as an instrument to stop poverty and other related social, environmental, and cultural problems.
DEVELOPMENT AS A RIGHT
Development is more than the passage from poor to rich, from a traditional rural economy to a sophisticated urban one. It carries with it not only the idea of economic betterment, but also of greater human dignity, security, justice, equity and education said Shridath Ramphal, Secretary-General of the Commonweath recently. He was addressing an International Commission of Jurist' (ICJ) conference in the Hague on development and the rule of law.
The participants agreed that development policies which concentrate on relieving " absolute poverty" can properly be adopted as matters of firts priority, but if they are seen as sufficient goals in themselves they are inadequate and tend to relegate the countries concerned to a permanent state of subordination.
True education development recognizes that civil, political, economic, social and cultural human rights are inseparable. Thus human, right lobbies must take a more structural approach towards human rights and become invloved in the complexities of sustainable development.
